the beginning.

Michael J. Fox once said, "happiness is a decision." We've made the decision to become healthier and happier and we want to inspire you to do the same! We've decided to challenge ourselves to a 5 month journey to reach our goal weight. How did we come up with this amazing plan you ask? Well....we were enjoying our lunch break this afternoon and we started discussing all our plans for the next year. We came up with a plan to lose weight and get healthy the right way! No more "fad" diets or practically starving ourselves in order to fit into that cute pair of jeans. Now we don't want you to get the wrong idea, getting fit isn't all about looking good, it's about feeling good about yourself and knowing how to take care of your body the right way :)

The biggest issue when it comes to losing weight is motivation. We've come up with some ideas to keep us going strong and we really hope these fun little tricks can help you too. First off, at the beginning of each month we treat ourselves to a cute new outfit for a "girls night out" that will take place at the end of each month. The catch is, this cute new outfit is 1 size too small! It's brilliant! Upcoming events are also great for motivation; weddings, vacations, summer break, etc etc. The biggest motivation of all should be your health, and that's what we plan to focus on.

We wanted to make this blog to share with you workout tips, recipes, and anything that inspires us. Quotes, stories, music, pictures, etc.....anything really! Once in awhile we will share with you our progress through posts or video blogs. We really hope you follow us on this journey!
